Nichols Cross Creek Realty, Inc., officially began its business in September 1994 in Basehor, Kansas. In June 2000, they opened a branch/information office at the current facility of 200 West St., Tonganoxie, Kansas. In 2001, HomeServices of America, the owner of the J. C. Nichols Alliance purchased J. D. Reece Realtors and merged the two largest Real Estate Brokerages in the Kansas City area to form Reece & Nichols Realtors. The Tonganoxie office became a fully operational real estate office in May 2005.
